I underwent complex spinal surgery with Mr Arzoglou. I felt completely at ease and confident that this was the correct path and correct surgeon for me. His manner is calm, confident and professional. I was given all the information that I needed to make an informed choice. Mr Arzoglou made sure I was fully aware of every possible outcome of my operation especially the bad and life threatening. My operation was a complete success. I went from being in excruciating pain 24hrs a day with restricted mobility to pain free and mobile in approximately 72hrs. Three months on. I'm fit and healthy and taking regular exercise. Having two young children I feel like I've been given my life back again and can not thank him enough.

I was transferred to Mr Arzoglou from another surgeon as he had an opening to allow me to have my discectomy quicker. The surgery was preformed at hull royal and it couldn't of gone any better. Mr arzoglou and his team where excellent. everything was explained to me in ways that I could understand. All the nursing staff did a brilliant job looking after me post surgery. I am very thankful as before the surgery I was struggling to work and was in constant pain. I am now almost pain free and it is only getting better.

He was very polite and considered. He examined me carefully, questioned me about my condition and its effect on me then explained his reasoning clearly. My only concern was that having travelled from York for the appointment I arrived early as I did not want to risk being late due to traffic etc but was then quite late going into the consultation.

Totally honest with the pros and cons of the surgery. Gave us confidence from the outset, from consultation through pre surgery and after surgery. highly recommend him. Totally professional in all aspects and can not think of any way he could improve, he was truly brilliant.
